Punjab announces four working days and three weekly holidays for government offices

Punjab: The provincial government has issued a notification introducing a new working schedule for government offices. According to the notification, official work will now be carried out from Monday to Thursday, while Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be observed as weekly holidays. Officials stated that the revised schedule aims to improve administrative efficiency and streamline government operations. The new system will apply to provincial government departments across Punjab, and authorities have instructed offices to follow the updated working calendar accordingly.
