Seoul: Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan addressed the Pakistan-Korea Business Conference via video link, where more than 170 Pakistani and South Korean business representatives participated. The conference highlighted Pakistan’s export potential in textiles, leather, surgical instruments, sports goods, agriculture and information technology, while delegations from Sialkot, Gujranwala and other chambers also took part. Jam Kamal urged both business communities to expand partnerships and said the conference could help bring Pakistan and South Korea closer to a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement. The first round of CEPA negotiations has been completed successfully, with a second round expected soon. Six important B2B memorandums of understanding were also signed between Pakistani and Korean companies.
