Pakistan passport services abroad suspended over technical issues

Islamabad: Pakistan’s passport services at several foreign missions, including Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi, have been temporarily suspended due to technical issues at the headquarters. Embassy officials confirmed that services will remain unavailable until further notice, with updates to be shared عبر official communication channels once systems are restored. Applicants have been advised to either apply online where possible or wait for further instructions. The disruption may cause delays for overseas Pakistanis seeking passport-related services, highlighting the need for system stability and improved digital infrastructure in consular operations.
