Pakistan High Commission Enables Digital Punjab Property Transfers in London

London: The Pakistan High Commission in London has made digital transfer of Punjab properties available for British Pakistanis, allowing eligible owners to complete the process without travelling to Pakistan. Applicants can visit the High Commission for identity verification, after which the transaction is processed through Punjab’s digital land-record system. According to the High Commission’s latest announcement, the process does not require a power of attorney, agent or third-party representative. The facility is part of land-record services developed jointly by the Punjab Land Records Authority and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The wider service includes online sale deeds, Fard, e-Girdawari, mutation entries and document attestation. The High Commission also confirmed that a digital property transfer had been completed for an overseas Pakistani family.
