Lahore: The district administration held a revenue open court to hear public complaints involving land and property records. The session was organised on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Lahore Captain (retired) Muhammad Ali Ijaz and conducted by Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Hafiz Karim Dad Chughtai. A total of 33 cases concerning land ownership, mutations, record-of-rights and inheritance were heard in detail, with each complainant given an opportunity to present their position. According to an official update from the Lahore deputy commissioner’s office, the initiative is intended to provide citizens with transparent and merit-based handling of revenue matters. The administration said relevant officials were directed to process complaints without unnecessary delay. The hearing of these cases does not necessarily mean that all 33 disputes were finally resolved during the session.
