Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (N) President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif visited the newly opened Bhati Gate Underpass and reviewed ongoing development work in the surrounding area. Officials briefed him on progress at the Data Darbar Complex, Neela Gumbad, Nasir Bagh Parking Plaza, Mochi Gate and other city projects. The 400-metre-long Bhati Gate Underpass has been completed at a reported cost of around PKR 1 billion and has now been opened to regular traffic. Authorities say the project has improved traffic flow around Bhati Gate and adjoining roads, reduced congestion and made daily commuting easier for motorists. Beautification work around the underpass is still continuing.
