Mohsin Naqvi urges calm after Ayatollah Khamenei’s death

Islamabad: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said the Muslim Ummah, as well as the people of Iran and Pakistan, are deeply saddened following the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. He stated that Pakistani citizens share the grief of the Iranian nation and urged the public to remain peaceful. The minister appealed to citizens not to take the law into their own hands and to record any protest in a lawful and calm manner. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation to maintain public order and prevent any untoward incidents across major cities of the country.
