LWMC chief checks cleanliness work in Lahore’s old streets

Lahore: CEO Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) Shahryar Arif Khan visited the inner streets of Gujjarpura to review cleanliness arrangements and assess waste management services. Deputy CEO Operations Mubeen Ahsan and Senior Manager Fleet Muneeb-ur-Rehman were also present during the visit.
According to LWMC, Shahryar Arif Khan toured residential areas and narrow streets on an environment-friendly bike of the anti-littering squad. During the visit, he reviewed sanitation activities and collected feedback from residents regarding door-to-door waste collection services.
The company stated that residents expressed satisfaction with the performance of the Suthra Punjab cleanliness teams. The LWMC chief urged citizens to cooperate with sanitation teams visiting homes for waste collection and play their role in maintaining a clean environment.
