LESCO Tightens Safety Measures, Reviews Monsoon Emergency Preparations

A meeting of LESCO functional heads was held at the company’s headquarters under the chairmanship of Chief Executive Officer Engineer Muhammad Ramzan Butt to review safety matters, monsoon preparations and consumer services.

The CEO directed officials to strictly implement LESCO’s zero-tolerance policy on safety, stressing that human life remains the highest priority and negligence in following safety SOPs will not be tolerated. Field staff were instructed to remain fully active during the monsoon season and continuously monitor the electricity distribution system.

LESCO also advised citizens to stay away from electrical installations during rainfall and immediately report any dangerous situation. The CEO said uninterrupted electricity supply, timely resolution of consumer complaints and professional behaviour with customers remain key priorities. All field formations were directed to remain prepared for monsoon-related emergencies.
