LDA upgrades Lahore Railway Station surroundings, parking near completion

Muhammad Muzamil Awan : Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) is upgrading the surroundings of Lahore Railway Station, with major improvements nearing completion. DG LDA Tahir Farooq reviewed progress and was briefed that the new parking area, designed on the pattern of Lahore Airport, is almost complete with solar lighting, seating spaces, and modern paving. Roads leading to the station have been remodeled, improving traffic flow, while encroachments have been removed. Landscaping, tree plantation, and façade upgrades of nearby buildings are also underway to enhance the city’s visual appeal. Officials emphasized better finishing standards to ensure a modern and welcoming environment for passengers arriving in Lahore.
