LDA seals 114 illegal commercial properties in Lahore crackdown

Muhammad Muzamil Awan Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority intensified its enforcement operations against illegal commercial activities, sealing 114 properties across multiple areas of the city. The crackdown was carried out in Defense Road, Babar Block New Garden Town, Shadbagh, Gulshan Ravi, New Muslim Town, and Sabzazar. Officials stated that the action targeted unauthorized commercial use and non-payment of commercialization fees. A wide range of establishments, including banks, marquees, schools, workshops, restaurants, and retail outlets, were sealed during the operation. Authorities emphasized that strict enforcement will continue without discrimination to regulate urban development, ensure compliance with building regulations, and maintain planned commercial activity across Lahore.
