LDA reviews Bhatti Chowk underpass, directs faster completion

Muzamil Awan: Lahore: Director General LDA Tahir Farooq, along with Deputy Commissioner Lahore Captain (R) Ali Ejaz, visited multiple ongoing development projects including the Data Darbar expansion and the Bhatti Chowk underpass. Officials stated that construction at Bhatti Chowk is progressing rapidly, with 300 piles completed and around 60% of piling work finished. Authorities directed teams to accelerate finishing work on pedestrian underpasses, facade improvements and beautification efforts around key infrastructure. Work on railway station parking, Circular Road upgrades and under-flyover development was also reviewed. Experts believe that timely completion of these projects will improve traffic flow, pedestrian facilities and overall urban infrastructure in central Lahore.
