Lahore: The Nasir Bagh Underground Parking Plaza has reached 78% overall completion, while its grey structure is now 100% complete, according to the latest Lahore Development Authority update. LDA Director General Tahir Farooq inspected the site along with ongoing works at Outfall Road, Bhati Chowk and Circular Road.
Finishing work is now underway on both basement levels, including electrification, painting, flooring and ramps, with work being carried out in two shifts. The DG also reviewed the proposed entrance and exit design for the underground facility.
The latest 78% figure marks substantial progress from 49% overall completion reported in May 2026. The project was originally approved on approximately 11.46 kanals with two basement levels; earlier project documents placed its approved cost at about Rs1.63 billion.
During the same inspection, Tahir Farooq directed installation of solar lights on Outfall Road, where footpath, asphalt and rehabilitation works have been carried out. At Bhati Chowk and the inner Circular Road, he reviewed façade-upgrade works toward Shah Alam Chowk, finishing work and development of a green area around the junction.
