Lahore Ring Road to get six modern service areas

LAHORE – The Lahore Ring Road Authority plans to develop six modern service areas along the city’s busy ring road to enhance commuter convenience and safety. Each site will feature food courts, fuel stations, parking, and rest stops. Authorities have invited experienced companies to construct and operate the facilities under long-term leases, ensuring professional management. The initiative aims to reduce driver fatigue on long journeys, improve overall travel experience, and boost commercial activity along the corridor. Officials emphasized that the project aligns with broader urban mobility and infrastructure development goals, providing travelers with modern roadside services while promoting economic opportunities in adjacent areas. Completion is expected in phases over the next few years.
