Lahore Police cracks down on wheelies, aerial firing and kite flying during Eid

Lahore: Lahore Police carried out a major crackdown during Eid-ul-Fitr against illegal activities including wheelies, aerial firing and kite flying. According to officials, 40 individuals involved in one-wheeling and three in aerial firing were arrested, along with 26 suspects for illegal weapons and 353 individuals involved in kite flying. Authorities also recovered one gun, 20 pistols, one rifle, 460 kites and 167 string reels during the operation. CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana stated that police remained on high alert to ensure public safety during Eid. Dolphin Squad and lady patrolling teams were deployed for effective monitoring, while traffic police ensured smooth flow of vehicles. Officials emphasized that strict action will continue against law violators.
