DG LDA reviews sustainable development works at Khayaban-e-Jinnah and Johar Town

Lahore: Director General LDA Tahir Farooq visited Khayaban-e-Jinnah and Khayaban-e-Firdousi in Johar Town to review ongoing sustainable development initiatives. Officials briefed him that major improvements including footpaths, tuff tiles, solar lighting and facade upgrades have been completed after removing encroachments. A green area and seating space have also been developed under the Shaukat Khanum flyover to enhance the urban environment. The DG LDA directed authorities to expedite finishing, beautification and sewerage works, and further accelerate development of service roads after completion of infrastructure. The project aims to improve road aesthetics, enhance public spaces and provide better civic facilities, reflecting modern urban planning standards in Lahore.
