Lahore: Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafiq conducted a detailed visit to the under-construction Jinnah Institute of Cardiology Lahore and reviewed the progress of ongoing development work. During the inspection, the minister assessed construction activities, project timelines, engineering standards, and preparations for future cardiac healthcare services. Officials briefed him on the current status of the project and the remaining work required for completion. The institute is expected to strengthen specialised heart treatment facilities in Lahore and reduce pressure on existing public hospitals. Timely completion can improve access to cardiac care, support modern medical infrastructure, and provide relief to patients from Lahore and other districts.
