Kasur’s Ghanike village transformed into modern model village under CM Maryam Nawaz’s Sohna Punjab vision

Kasur: Under Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s “Sohna Punjab” vision, Ghanike village in Kasur has been transformed into a modern model village. The development has replaced unpaved streets, open drains and muddy pathways with paved roads and an improved drainage system. The upgrades are aimed at making daily life cleaner, safer and more convenient for residents while improving the overall rural environment. The project reflects the provincial government’s broader focus on extending basic infrastructure and civic facilities to villages and underserved communities.
