Islamabad traffic diversions from 4pm to midnight Sunday

Islamabad: Authorities have announced a comprehensive traffic diversion plan for the Marka-e-Haq event, with several major roads set to remain closed from 4 pm to midnight on Sunday. Islamabad Traffic Police said the plan aims to manage traffic flow and ensure security during the high-profile gathering. Entry of heavy transport vehicles into the capital will be banned during restricted hours, while Faizabad Bus Terminal will remain closed and 26 Number Terminal will stay operational. Key routes around Serena Chowk, Kohsar Market, PTV Chowk, Faizabad, Constitution Avenue and Red Zone access points will face closures or diversions. Effective traffic planning can protect public movement, business access and urban order. Will this reduce congestion during the event?
