Islamabad to Launch Two Major Flyover Projects Soon

Islamabad is set to inaugurate two major flyover projects aimed at easing traffic congestion and enhancing urban infrastructure. According to Deputy Director General Environment CDA, Irfan Azeem Khan Niazi, the projects align with the prime minister’s vision of improving the capital’s livability and urban outlook.Speaking to PTV News, Niazi said the flyovers at T-Chowk and Shaheen Chowk will be inaugurated shortly, subject to the prime minister’s schedule. Alongside road development, the Interior Minister has directed CDA to prioritize green spaces, including the plantation of flowering and allergy-friendly trees to improve environmental quality.He added that the Faizabad remodeling project is in its final stages, featuring road widening and loop extensions to streamline traffic flow. Beautification and landscaping work is also underway at major interchanges across Islamabad.
