The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has advanced plans for a new teaching and tertiary care hospital in Islamabad after Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa met with senior leadership of Aga Khan University. During the meeting, Randhawa assured full support for the Aga Khan University Teaching Hospital, noting that the project will enhance clinical services, boost medical research, and elevate healthcare education in the federal capital. He emphasized that the initiative represents a major milestone for Islamabad’s health sector and will significantly raise treatment standards. Aziz Jan, AKU’s Chief of Facilities and Administrative Services, said the hospital will offer world-class care equipped with modern medical technology. Randhawa added that CDA also plans to collaborate with AKU to improve health services for CDA employees and upgrade CDA-run educational institutions.
