Gujranwala marks Operation Bunyan anniversary at Jinnah Stadium

Gujranwala: Ceremonies are continuing at Jinnah Stadium to mark the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos, with expressions of gratitude and solidarity with the Armed Forces of Pakistan. Like the rest of the country, Gujranwala is observing the victory day with national spirit, while directions have been issued to decorate government buildings with flags and organize three-day celebrations across the city and district. Special programmes are also being held in schools, colleges, offices and parks. Deputy Commissioner Naveed Ahmed visited Jinnah Stadium, where ADC General Zeeshan Nadeem briefed him on arrangements and security. Well-managed public events can improve civic activity, city image and local business movement. Will these celebrations strengthen public unity?
