Gujranwala DC inspects Children Hospital under health reforms

Muhammad Muzamil Awan :Gujranwala: Deputy Commissioner Naveed Ahmed made a surprise visit to Children Hospital Gujranwala under the Chief Minister Punjab health reforms initiative and inspected the OPD and different hospital departments. He checked the attendance of doctors and paramedical staff according to the duty roster, visited admitted children and asked their parents about medical facilities, medicine availability and overall treatment standards. The DC also took feedback from attendants about the behavior of doctors and staff, while issuing necessary instructions to the hospital administration. Such inspections can improve public healthcare delivery, strengthen accountability and raise confidence in government hospitals. Better health infrastructure also supports urban livability and nearby residential value. Will regular monitoring improve hospital services?
