Gujranwala accelerates sewerage upgrade under Punjab Development Program

Gujranwala: Under the Punjab Development Program led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, work on a comprehensive sewerage upgrade plan is progressing rapidly in Gujranwala to provide a long-term solution to drainage issues. Deputy Commissioner Naveed Ahmed conducted an early morning visit to inspect ongoing work on Jinnah Road and reviewed construction progress. WASA officials have been directed to ensure timely completion and maintain high construction standards using quality materials. Authorities also emphasized strict implementation of safety measures at construction sites to protect workers and the public. The project aims to significantly improve urban sanitation and reduce sewerage-related problems in the city.
