Karachi water delegation visits Lahore to boost urban services coordination

Muhammad Muzamil Awan : Lahore: A high-level delegation from Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation, led by Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab, visited the WASA Lahore head office to enhance coordination in urban service delivery. The delegation was welcomed by Provincial Minister for Housing Bilal Yaseen, Chairman Punjab WASA Chaudhry Sher Ali Khan, Vice Chairman Chaudhry Shahbaz Ahmed, and MD WASA Ghufran Ahmed. Officials exchanged experiences on water supply systems, sewerage management, revenue collection, and the use of modern technology. The visiting team was also taken to various field operations, including drainage systems, disposal stations, and monsoon preparedness measures, aiming to improve service efficiency through shared expertise.
