Faulty Sewerage System Causes Misery in Mansoor Colony, Harbanspura

LAHORE: Residents of Mansoor Colony in Harbanspura are facing severe difficulties due to a persistently faulty sewerage system. Overflowing gutters and stagnant, foul-smelling wastewater have inundated streets, spreading unbearable stench and unhygienic conditions. Locals say the situation has remained unresolved for over a year, with sewage water standing in front of homes, damaging properties and disrupting daily life. Shopkeepers in the area report sharp declines in business as customers avoid the locality due to filth and odor. Despite repeated complaints to concerned departments, no effective action has been taken so far. Residents have urged the Punjab government and district administration to immediately repair and clean the sewerage system to restore normal living conditions.
