Faisalabad’s Allied Hospital Begins Emergency Expansion Targets Up to 130 Beds

Faisalabad: Construction of the third floor of the Emergency Department at Allied Hospital-I has begun, with Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Numan Siddiq laying the foundation stone. The expansion aims to increase the hospital’s capacity to accommodate emergency patients and improve healthcare facilities.
The project is being undertaken with the cooperation of Grain Market traders and local philanthropists under a corporate social responsibility initiative. Their contribution is intended to support the development of additional emergency treatment space at the hospital.
According to the announced plan, the Emergency Department’s bed capacity is expected to increase from 50 to approximately 100–130 beds after completion. The expansion could help the hospital accommodate more patients and reduce pressure on existing emergency facilities.
The project is currently at the initial construction stage. Its estimated cost, confirmed completion deadline and final operational bed capacity have not yet been independently established.
