Dubai’s $1bn Trump Tower Enters Next Build Phase With 80% Inventory Secured

Dubai: Construction of the $1 billion Trump International Hotel & Tower Dubai has moved into its next phase after developer Dar Global awarded Gulf Asia Contracting the contract to build the tower’s podium. Dar Global says the project is progressing on schedule following its enabling works programme.

The development will rise about 350 metres across 80 floors on Sheikh Zayed Road at the entrance to Downtown Dubai. It will combine a five-star Trump-branded hotel, private residences and an exclusive members-only club. Dar Global’s official project page lists the development as under development with expected completion in December 2031.

The project will feature more than 500 homes and what Dar Global describes as Dubai’s highest outdoor swimming pool. It will also include two signature duplex penthouses inspired by Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue in New York.

Dar Global chief executive Ziad El Chaar told The National that about 80% of the project’s inventory had already been secured, with buyers representing around 40 nationalities, including investors from Pakistan, India, the UK, Saudi Arabia and other markets.

The two signature penthouses are priced at about Dh75 million each, while reported prices for larger apartments are around Dh4 million to Dh5 million.
