DG LDA reviews Data Darbar upgrade project, orders faster progress

Lahore: Director General LDA Tahir Farooq visited Data Darbar to review the progress of ongoing development and facade upgradation works in the surrounding areas. During the visit, Chief Engineer LDA Israr Saeed and Chief Engineer TEPA Iqrar Hussain briefed him on various aspects of the project. The DG directed authorities to accelerate facade improvement works of nearby properties and ensure high-quality finishing standards. He also instructed coordination with traffic police to manage diversions and maintain smooth traffic flow during construction activities. Additionally, vigilance teams were directed to conduct regular site visits to monitor progress. Officials stated that the project aims to enhance the area’s infrastructure, improve aesthetics and provide better facilities for visitors.
