CTO orders strict crackdown on traffic violations across Lahore

Ali Raza Wajid: Lahore: CTO Lahore Syed Abdul Rahim Shirazi chaired a high-level meeting with circle officers and sector incharges, directing strict enforcement of traffic rules across the city. During visits to key roads including Mall Road, Jail Road, Ferozepur Road, and Canal Road, he emphasized zero tolerance for violations such as one-way breaches, signal violations, and zigzag driving. Authorities were instructed to ensure lane discipline and utilize Safe City cameras for monitoring. Vehicles involved in dangerous driving may be impounded to enforce accountability. This move under the Mobility Cluster aims to improve urban traffic flow and reduce accidents. For Lahore residents, stricter enforcement could mean safer roads and disciplined commuting.
