Cold Weather Continues in Lahore, AQI Improves

Cold weather conditions continue in Lahore, with temperatures dropping further across the city. The current temperature has been recorded at 8°C, while the minimum temperature is expected to fall to 6°C, according to the Meteorological Department. Humidity levels have risen to 99%, accompanied by light winds blowing at around 2 km/h, and no rainfall is expected today. At the same time, Lahore’s air quality has shown slight improvement, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) recorded at 156, placing the city 12th among the world’s most polluted cities. High pollution levels were recorded in areas including the Civil Secretariat, Cantt, Model Town, DHA Phase 5, and Bedia Road. Authorities advise citizens to take precautions amid cold and polluted conditions.
