CM Maryam Nawaz orders Suthra Punjab workers’ payments before 5th of every month, action against delays

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed authorities to ensure that Suthra Punjab workers are paid before the 5th of every month and ordered immediate legal action against those responsible for delays. Officials informed the meeting that payments to 149 out of 151 workers had been completed. The chief minister also ordered action against a company accused of withholding payments to workers in Rojhan and Choubara and stressed that public complaints must be resolved without delay. Citizens who consistently maintain cleanliness will be recognized with environment-friendly stickers, gifts and certificates from the chief minister. She further directed that the quality of Suthra Punjab’s sanitation operations should improve every day.
