Lahore: Following the directives of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, repair and restoration work is underway on roads damaged by recent rainfall across the province. According to official government updates, teams from the Communication and Works Department, relevant provincial agencies and district administrations have been deployed with heavy machinery to restore affected routes. The government said major roads are being prioritised to reopen them for traffic and ensure uninterrupted public movement. Field teams are assessing damaged sections and carrying out repairs where required.
