Broken Canal Road near Dayal House troubles Lahore residents for years

Lahore: Residents and commuters near Dayal House on Canal Road have complained that the connected road has remained broken for a long time, creating serious problems for pedestrians, motorcyclists, and local residents. Citizens say the area faces repeated issues of damaged road surfaces, blocked gutters, sewerage overflow, standing dirty water after rain, and piles of waste along the roadside. According to locals, repeated assurances have been given, but no proper repair or construction work has been carried out so far. The poor condition of the road affects daily mobility, public health, property surroundings, and overall urban living standards. Will authorities repair this neglected road before the situation worsens further?
