Bhati Chowk underpass nears completion as second asphalt layer finished

Lahore: The Bhati Chowk Underpass project is moving rapidly toward completion under the Punjab government’s urban traffic improvement plan. Officials say the second asphalt layer on the underpass has been completed, while finishing work is continuing day and night to open the route as soon as possible. Located in one of Lahore’s busiest areas, the project is expected to improve traffic flow, reduce congestion, and provide smoother movement for daily commuters. Once operational, millions of vehicles are expected to benefit from faster access and reduced travel delays. Better road infrastructure can also support nearby commercial activity, public convenience, and real estate value. Can this underpass ease Lahore’s long-standing traffic pressure?
