Bahria Town Appeals to Field Marshal Asim Munir Over Alleged Undervalued Asset Auction

Islamabad: Bahria Town has appealed to Field Marshal Asim Munir to intervene in the ongoing auction of its assets, claiming that properties are being sold significantly below their market value. The company stated that nearly PKR 372 billion worth of investments from citizens, salaried individuals, and overseas Pakistanis remain linked to the affected projects. Bahria Town has requested that the auction process be paused until pending court cases are decided, arguing that investors’ interests should be protected. The company clarified that it is not seeking immunity from the law but is calling for transparency, due process, and fair treatment while legal proceedings continue. The dispute is connected to NAB investigations and the £190 million settlement case.
