Azerbaijani Ambassador Meets Punjab Minister for Housing, Backs Collaborative Urban Development Efforts

Lahore: Azerbaijani Ambassador Khazar Farhadov met Punjab’s Minister for Housing and Urban Development, Bilal Yaseen, to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and furthering mutual cooperation in urban planning. The meeting focused on the success of Punjab’s “Apni Chhat Apna Ghar” program for low-income families, with the ambassador congratulating the initiative. The two officials also discussed participating in the upcoming World Urban Forum in Baku and exchanged insights on housing and urban development policies. Both nations agreed to share best practices in smart city projects, affordable housing, and urban planning, aiming to create a conducive environment for investors.
