Annual Cleanliness Drive Launched at Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate, Lahore

Lahore: The annual cleanliness campaign has formally begun at Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate under the Suthra Punjab Program through joint efforts of WASA and LWMC. The initiative aims to ensure a clean, healthy, and environmentally friendly industrial environment. Addressing the ceremony, chief guest retired Javed Iqbal praised the Punjab government for launching a province-wide, comprehensive cleanliness initiative. He urged industrial stakeholders to maintain their estates in line with government policy and standards. Officials noted visible improvements across the estate, attributing progress to coordinated efforts by industrialists, administration, and sanitation staff. Participants pledged to continue the campaign on a permanent basis to promote a healthier industrial ecosystem.
