Abu Dhabi’s ADNOC Sets 24-Hour 6,428-Foot AI Drilling Benchmark

Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi National Oil Company has established a new well-delivery performance benchmark after drilling 6,428 feet within 24 hours through the UAE’s complex carbonate rock formations. ADNOC said its teams are now routinely completing well sections longer than one mile in a single day by combining artificial intelligence, live operational data, advanced analytics and specialist experience. Engineers and subsurface experts at ADNOC’s Real-Time Intelligence Centre monitor operations around the clock, allowing teams to optimise drilling performance and make faster decisions. ADNOC Onshore and ADNOC Drilling said the technology-led approach is supporting safer operations, faster well delivery and improved efficiency while helping bring new energy production capacity online more quickly.
