Job Description
The Urban Unit is inviting applications for the position of Senior Project Manager under the Apni Chhat Apna Ghar ACAG Program. This initiative of the Chief Minister Punjab is aimed at supporting affordable housing across the province through verification of plot locations identification of applicants or borrowers and monitoring of construction progress.
The selected candidate will lead coordination management and monitoring of project activities while ensuring efficient engagement with field teams administrative units and internal departments. The role requires strong experience in project management development projects public sector program monitoring and multidisciplinary coordination.
Responsibilities
Coordinate with Junior Engineers and BOP project teams for effective execution of field and project activities
Facilitate administrative and financial processes including verification and coordination of invoices
Facilitate travel arrangements of senior team members
Attend and manage payments of Junior Engineers for timely salary disbursement of salaried consultants
Collect review supervise and verify periodic progress reports submitted by project staff
Arrange project travel and transport
Monitor engineer daily progress
Verify all online visit submissions by Junior Engineers
Support procurement of goods and services
Prepare daily progress reports of field activities as per targets
Ensure all engineers and field staff wear required gadgets
Prepare monthly quarterly and final reports
Requirements
16 years of education in Business Studies, Development Studies, Finance, HR, Engineering, Applied Sciences or equivalent
Foreign qualified and higher degree holders will be preferred
Minimum 7 years relevant professional experience in project management development projects or planning design and monitoring of public sector programs
Experience in project management and coordination with multidisciplinary teams
Experience in managing field teams and administrative processes
Experience in financial management communication with stakeholders invoice processing and salary processing
Experience in coordination with Finance HR Procurement and Communication Department of The Urban Unit
Punjab domicile required
