CDA Chairman Orders Fast-Track Work in Islamabad Sectors

Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) Mohammad Ali Randhawa has set new deadlines for sector development projects in Islamabad. He directed the engineering wing to complete Sector C-14 by the end of next month and Sector I-12 within three months. During a review meeting, Randhawa expressed dissatisfaction over delays and warned officials of disciplinary action for negligence. A CDA press release said that new working groups have been formed — one to speed up ongoing projects and another to upgrade old sectors through improved roads, electrification, horticulture, and modern facilities. Work in Sector C-15 and E-12 is also progressing, with tenders finalized for additional development. Randhawa stressed timely completion to ensure better urban infrastructure for citizens.
