Anti-Encroachment Drive Intensifies Under DC Lahore

The Lahore district administration, under Deputy Commissioner Syed Musa Raza, has launched a large-scale anti-encroachment operation to make the city cleaner and congestion-free, in line with Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s vision. Over 1,244 encroachments were cleared and 2,330 illegal banners and flexes were removed from major roads, markets, and public areas. Metropolitan Officer Regulation Kashif Jaleel supervised the field teams, ensuring strict action across all zones. Citizens can report complaints through the DC Lahore Control Room (03070002345). Officials emphasized that a zero-tolerance policy will continue until Lahore is completely cleared of encroachments. The administration reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring smooth traffic flow and restoring public spaces through transparent and impartial enforcement.
