A high-level meeting chaired by Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has decided that the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and the Employees’ Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) will jointly launch several development projects in Islamabad. The proposed initiatives will focus on tourism, recreation, the hospitality industry and other commercial sectors to enhance the capital’s economic activity and public amenities. Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Salik Hussain participated in the meeting via video link. According to officials, the collaboration aims to utilize available land and institutional resources more effectively, attract investment, promote tourism and create new employment opportunities while supporting Islamabad’s long-term urban development strategy.
