PHA bans temporary rides in parks ahead of Eid

Muhammad Muzamil Awan : Lahore: The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has imposed a ban on the installation of temporary mechanical rides in public parks ahead of Eid-ul-Adha to ensure citizen safety. According to DG PHA Raja Mansoor Ahmed, only permanently installed rides with valid fitness certificates will be allowed. Authorities have directed all district agencies to strictly enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with the Home Department’s notification. PHA staff will remain on duty during Eid, maintaining coordination with district administration to prevent any untoward incidents. Special cleanliness arrangements will also be ensured in parks to provide a safe and hygienic environment for visitors.
