Ali Raza Wajid: Lahore: City Traffic Police Lahore has intensified its enforcement campaign on model roads under the direction of CTO Syed Abdul Rahim Shirazi to improve traffic discipline and ensure public safety. During the latest crackdown, over 2132 challans were issued, while 818 vehicles involved in serious violations were impounded. Actions were taken against 690 motorcyclists for lane violations, 185 for one-way breaches, and 630 riders for not wearing helmets. Authorities are also monitoring violations through Safe City and body cameras. This initiative under the Mobility Cluster aims to create safer and more organized roads across Lahore. For residents, stricter enforcement could improve daily commuting conditions. Will such strict actions change traffic behavior in your area?
