LDA accelerates revenue drive, orders strict recovery across zones

Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority, under the chairmanship of DG Tahir Farooq, reviewed revenue targets for the final quarter of the fiscal year and directed strict recovery measures across all zones. Officials were instructed to intensify operations against illegal commercialization and ensure full collection of commercial fees on newly commercialized roads. The Town Planning Wing has been directed to remain active in the field, with daily progress reports on recovery operations. Authorities also announced that the next plot balloting under the installment scheme will be held in May, with May 11 set as the deadline for applications. The initiative aims to strengthen financial performance and regulatory compliance.
