Punjab orders WASA projects completion before monsoon, stresses quality standards

Muhammad Muzamil Awan: Lahore: Provincial Minister for Housing Bilal Yasin has directed all WASA authorities across Punjab, including Faisalabad, to complete ongoing development schemes before the monsoon season. During an online meeting with managing directors, officials were instructed to ensure the use of high-quality construction materials to maintain transparency and durability. Authorities emphasized that timely completion of sewerage and water supply projects is essential to facilitate efficient drainage during heavy rains. The government reiterated its commitment to providing clean drinking water and improved sanitation services, highlighting that billions of rupees are being invested in infrastructure upgrades to enhance urban living standards across the province.
