Lahore: Under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s Green Lahore vision, the Parks and Horticulture Authority is actively ensuring regular watering of trees, plants, and seasonal flowers across the city. Water tankers have been deployed to maintain greenery and support plant growth amid changing weather conditions. Officials stated that consistent irrigation is essential to sustain plantation drives and protect newly planted vegetation from environmental stress. The initiative is part of broader efforts to enhance urban greenery, reduce the impact of climate change, and improve the city’s environmental quality. Authorities emphasized that maintaining healthy green spaces will contribute to a cleaner and more livable Lahore.
