PHA launches plantation drive in Lahore Zone VI under Green Vision

Lahore: The Parks and Horticulture Authority has launched a large-scale plantation drive in Zone VI under the Green Lahore Vision to enhance the city’s green cover. The campaign was inaugurated by Special Assistant to Chief Minister Rashid Iqbal Nasrullah, who planted a sapling at Adda Plot. Officials stated that thousands of trees will be planted along Raiwind Road and in surrounding areas to improve environmental conditions and urban aesthetics. Senior PHA officers also attended the event, highlighting the government’s commitment to sustainable development and pollution reduction. Authorities emphasized that such initiatives will contribute to a healthier environment and better living standards for residents across Lahore.
