LDA reviews Data Darbar expansion, speeds up Bhatti Chowk underpass

Lahore: DG LDA Tahir Farooq reviewed progress on the Data Darbar expansion project and surrounding development works, including the Bhatti Chowk underpass. Officials briefed that 215 out of 375 piles for the underpass have been completed, while expansion and finishing work in front of Data Darbar is progressing rapidly. The DG directed immediate initiation of excavation at the underpass site and ordered acceleration of ongoing construction activities. He also instructed teams to enhance façade upgrades and complete beautification works at key locations including the Railway Station area and Mori Gate bridges. Authorities emphasized maintaining high-quality standards and timely completion to improve urban infrastructure and enhance the city’s aesthetic and traffic flow.
